Ten percent of Ukrainian orphans will commit suicide within the first year of aging out of the system. Over ten percent will end up in prison. Six out of ten girls will be forced into violent sex trafficking. These are the statistics that turned the global orphan problem into our family rescue mission fueled by God’s heart for orphans in James 1:27. We knew that with all God has blessed us with, we surely have more room to care for and love more children who simply need a chance, hope, and a home. Our family mission and ministry focus have been radically changed to pursing orphans in adoption and serving orphans as advocates wherever and whenever God gives us a moment to share on their behalf.

This blog is to share our adoption journey, from our first adoption of two amazing boys from Ukraine and now as we pursue the adoption of one very precious girl from Ukraine. Thank you for your time, we hope to share this journey with others as an encouragement of what God can do in a family surrendered to His plan.

James 1:27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
